It cut through!!!
No news about his sugar as of yet. You know how it is when you call the doctor and it takes centuries to get a reply if they feel it’s not life threatening.

Today, I feel a little down. I’m not sure what it is but I wish that it will just go away. I got a call on my cell from a number I didn’t recognize. I generally screen my calls when I’m upset but I answered this one. It was the IVF office that my husband and I used. I haven’t spoken to anyone from the office since I was discharged. The nurse called me about a questionnaire and remembered exactly who I was. She said I was hard to forget because when ever I had to get blood work I would flip out about how much it hurt or that I didn’t have enough blood. LOL Well yes, I do have a low pain tolerance. Anyway, she wanted to know how my pregnancy and child went. I gave her a quick review of what occurred and she felt very sympathetic. Now, I know that these questionnaires are monitory. I somehow don’t think my story will encourage someone with fertility issues. Once I got off the phone with her I immediately began to cry. I cried until I heard Tre` whimper. I wiped my tears and went to him. Once I took him out the bed, he smiled so huge, I started to laugh.

I put him in his swing and he fell fast asleep. (these are thumbnails)

Lately Tre` has been extremely agitated. There’s no calming him down sometimes, too. With the excessive drooling spells, to gnawing at his fist, to his temper flaring; it’s been assumed by his nurses that he has been teething. I didn’t believe that MY baby was teething because I didn’t see or feel anything that can be clarified as teeth. Secondly one nurse would say that she feels something while the next nurse differs. I went ahead a bought Baby Orajel since it wouldn’t hurt him. Just as I suspected, NOTHING happened! His noonie (pacifier) did more for him than Orajel so he not teething.

Once his overnight nurse left, I tried various things to console him until either something worked or I tired him out. I’m not sure which one it was but he fell fast asleep in my arms. I kissed him and watched his sleeping facial expressions. For some reason I looked in his mouth. I did it as softly as I can so I didn’t wake him. Lo and behold, I find two nubbies coming in at the bottom. To make matters worse, I can't really call them nubbies because nubbies are felt teeth are seen. At least I think. Oh no, these are two teeth coming in at the bottom. I wanted to die.

I have come to grips with the fact that my baby has become a man. LOL.

Ohhh, teeth! I'm a bit jealous since Sarah still has her big, baby gummy smile ;) He'll be ready for steak and potatos, soon!

Glad you're blogging, Dwana! I look forward to reading about your little man!
